| Mizuno Golf took a slow motion capture of Luke Donald hitting shots out of the bunker while he was filming "The Moment" (also in the link below!). A very cool clip of his swing!

| No doubt about it, Luke had always been one of the best short game specialist, precise bunker play. If his iron is sharp this week, he is a serious contender for US open at Merion. A course that bomber don't really have a advantage. | |

| Definitely - we saw him play at the RBC Canadian Open at Shaughnessy GC in Vancouver a couple years ago. He's the nicest guy and has such an awesome golf game.
Speaking of Merion though, they got soaked with 5 inches of rain today.... FIVE! The course is going to be soaked and doesn't look like it'll be very dry come tournament time. More bad weather in the forecast over the next couple of days too.

| @element17 funny you should mention his iron shots, Mizuno Golf just released a slow motion capture of his full iron swing!

| well i guess that's no surprise, given that he's really very consistent with his irons. Not a long hitter but precision pretty much counts a lot to his game. | |

actually the funny thing is that because there isn't a need to use a driver on the course, many are saying this will favour Tiger. He hasn't been hitting driver very often as he is still quite wild with it, so losing distance off the tee compared to others who hit driver. At merion, with no driver needed, he can continue playing his normal game and use his irons to get close

| That seems to be the plan for a lot of the pros this week. Rory was saying how he'll most likely either tee it up with driver or go with an iron.
A lot of guys putting in 2-irons in their bag for this week!
