| Hi Fellow Grians,
I heard that one does not need PC or Handicap Index to play in Bintan and Batam... ope it's true. My colleague wants to go try out the courses the there..
My query is: How do you travel orget on the ferry with your gear? What do you use to store you precious gear?
Sorry if this question has been asked before...

| You don't need a travel bag. Just use the cover that comes with your bag and iron covers if your the kiasu type | |

I normally use a travel cover as sometime u can see your bag being stacked under 100 over pcs of other golf bag. No PC or hip needed.

That is a good idea, too bad I don't have a spare set anymore. Worthwhile to have a spare set and bag, particularly when playing an overseas course for the first time or using a new agent. Touch wood any loss just submit claim, no heartbreak.

| I recommend as others mentioned spare set, or getting good covers. My new forged irons got dinged on my trip to bintan (first time for me) quite heart ache | |

| It is best to use a travel bag with padlock. Things can get stolen while transporting your golf set to the club, e.g. balls, umbrella, etc... Better be safe than sorry.
Moreover, most travel bags have additional padding that served as extra protection.

| Thks bro dyeosh, I 've been in out SA coming to 7 years liao, but only pick up golf few mths back. Agreed, till now I am still extremely careful whenever I'm there. But still relatively safe compared to Nigeria and Congo where I really felt unsafe!
