Posting In Marketplace

Be welcome party??? Surely can get 50 easily. Lol

I need to sell my golf equipment already, cos my wife is nagging...
can anyone help?? it's been awhile since I last used GR...

If I'm not mistaken, the 50 post rule applies only to you posting stuff in the Marketplace. I don't think it restricts you from searching the posts in Marketplace and replying to any thread that is selling the driver that you're looking for.

I think he meant he want to post WTB to search for the driver.

50 is probably a number decided by Admin...but i would propose 30 for about 1 week + of following and posting.

Just my 2 cents humble opinion.

Please..enough of this subject already. Has been discussed often times before, whatever needs to be said, has been said. Its part of T&C to join GR now. Newbies, pls read the past/relevant discussions when this rule was put in place if youre interested to know why. Otherwise, post or reply to some golf topics la.

Having posts and making friends on this forum also increases the credibility of the things you are buying/selling.

so that we wont get alot of dud buyers and fake sellers. Not a perfect plan but at least 50 (genuine) posts can roughly show that you are here to stay or just here to get rid of your used stuff.

We dont want to arrange meet ups just to have the buyer/seller putting aeroplane at the last moment wasting each other's time or worse still buying fake stuff.

if your 50 posts are like "hello, welcome to the forum" then I would be careful to transact with you cos I can guess that you are merely clocking posts to meet the rules only.

One issue abt posting on market place is on pictures posting 
Noticed occasions where description posted without accompanying pictures of content

I fondly rem the initial stage of establishing our forum.. picture post was one of the main rules to deter fakes

It is still the rule of marketplace. Hasnt changed. 

If there's a thread that we missed, please let us know hor. There are lot of threads to monitor, a few might slip.

 The npnp (no picture no post rule) must be enforced across all levels without any white horse exceptions.

Even the picture lagging thingy shld be kept to within hrs of TS posting description or better still strictly no pic no post.

Because eventually, the actual 'enforcement' as you mentioned, comes down to us executing. That's our part in the big picture.

Since its the rule here, will just have to follow.

But then again, 50 posts might be alot. I don't want to make post just for the sake of achieveing that 50 posts quota. Will look like a spammer.
