| Knowing the yardage helps but they also need to know where is safe to miss. such knowledge can only be obtained by familiarity of course. i find it strange that Malaysian didnt even have a practice round before the tournament. | |

Their own caddies know the course fairly well only

| Don't mean to be harsh TS not knocking the Malasysians... But it is not like last week they said "lets play the Causeway Trophy" it has been 6 months in the making, so for 6 months the teams have had free and open access to the course.
And as above, they had one practice round a a Pro Am... Not great preparation for a Pro event...

Then they have no one to blame but themselves. Anyway, I guess they saw this more as a tournament to boost inter-country collaboration. It'll sink in soon enough and the rivalry will pick up  At which point, it'll be fierce! | |
