| I've played CITIC Chang Ping golf club many times - it's a decent course that's challenging and quite fair. Booking rates are about RMB800 weekdays and RMB1100 weekends. You can get more information on the course and booking at www.golf007.com
There's a high end hotel near the course (about 10mins) called EurAsia that's 5 star with a very good KTV. Same at Goodview (about 20 mins) which is a little farther away but slightly cheaper.

| If u don't mind traveling 45min to an hour, u shld try Nansha golf course at PanYu. One of the better course that I've played at. The hill course offers quite nice view. Wkday only 600+ but the transportation quite ex.. Mpv is ard 500rmb if I don't remember wrongly... If divide by 4 is additional 125rmb per pax... Played at nansha and Firestone couple of months back... Firestone got 9 holes using temp green... CMI....
Wrong thread to read up on other activities if that is what you are more interested in haha

| I have been there once. good food and many nice and beautiful golf courses but beware of your belongings. try staying at mid to high-end hotels for security reasons. | |

| Nansha is a good course but completely in a different area...unless you want to be spending a lot of time commuting and not exactly a pleasant country drive in that area, plus relatively dangerous with the crazy drivers there.
Check out Long Island, Phoenix Hill, Hillview or any other course in Dongguan area. There really isn't a bad course in that area.

| Most of the hotels lobby in CP have a pro shop but real or not, very subjective. They can also help to arrange golf games. But are your friends into golf too bcos CP can be really distracting especially flower streets. Have fun! | |

Golf courses wise. You can try 1. Phoenix Hill (nice hilly course which you will not find in Singapore) 1hr drive 2. Wind Valley (Hill course with Fantastic view, very nice!) 1.5 hrs drive 3. Jiu Long Shan (Hilly course, bring lots of balls!) 1hr drive 4. Yin Li (normal course frequent by Taiwanese & HKers. Range got a golden retriever named Po Chai! 45mins drv) 5. Zhong Xin (relaxing course and nearest 20mins drive) 6. Hou Niao BIrds Resort ( wide fairways and well maintained course, as the name implies during summer many Hou NIao fly there. So depends on H7N9 situation then u decide. 1hr10mins drv) 7. Mission Hills Dongguan clubhouse. (world famous should try on a mon when it is cheapest 45mins to 1 hr drive) 8. Nan Sha (nice course surrounded by hills, got option to walk 1hrs drive) 9. Hill View ( normal course, got some difficult holes but overall ok. 1hr drive) 10. Long Island (expensive, at the foot of Lotus Mountain/hill highest in DG. good thing is after the game you can go shopping along the street shops just outside the club. Got kelong golf apparals and clubs for sale 1hr drive) Should be enough? Cheers
