- Yes and we should arrange a few golf games for those who are attending as well....we had a couple of games thrown in this time, a place in Korat
Rancho Charnvee
and a very nice place with a shitty name in South Ayutthaya
Bangsai Golf Course
Rancho is about 2 hours away while Bangsai is just over an hour away. but you do not feel like you are in Bangkok at all.
DGman Great... Congrats Eric, that's as impressive as it gets... There are a few more golf course outside Khorat that are pretty nice ie. Panorama, Mission hills and recently they opened a brand new golf course, can't remember the name off hand... These golf courses are about 1.5-2hrs to Khorat, so will be nearer to BKK... | |

| Hi Eric
This is Driving range or part of Golf course? Seems really over done if this is just driving range?
Either way congratulation on your recent expansion, best wishes!!!

| There is no golf course at this location...to expensive the land and as you can see, the money is in F&B, facilities and making the surrounding land more expensive and desirable. now Guess who owns the land....haha
the Thais property players are much better business people than Mapletree who looks at short term gain.
One classic case...the property director told the CEO of one of the largest property company that on the first day of sale, he had sold 90% of the units. the boss was damn angry...
you know why? | |

| Immediate Gratification vs
Short Term Gain vs
Medium Term Sustainability vs
Long Term Prosperity?
Guessing only.... | |

| they sold the units too cheap and has not optimised margins. there is a difference in business mentality between the person who owns the business and the person who works for the owner....

| Person who works for the owner looks for immediate gratification, i.e. lock in the highest sales numbers, get the comm & leave for the next highest bidder once he creates a name for himself in the marketBusiness Owners look for longevity in their business, i.e. assess the resources at hand, see how best to make it last longest with increasing returns on returns amplified over timeOne way to strike a balance is for business owners to reward talents with shares (non-voting rights) in the business.Once the employee has a vested interest in the longevity of the business, business owners would be surprised on how these talents can think of the bigger picture for the business in everything he doesMy 2 cents worth - DGman wrote:
