| I would like to thank you to those golfers who's allowing my young girl to join them at MBGC. Appreciated your help, support and patience. Many non-golfing parent would appreciate too, please help the kids who love playing golf but cannot drive buggy. For those who refuse to drive for the junior, I hope you chance your mindset soon! Have a wonderful golf day. | |

| Phase 1 Junior Golfers with practice, patience, perseverance, desire, discipline, determination, only to lack of playing opportunity and competitionPhase 2 Junior Golfers + A hand or two from the older generation = some playing opportunity, though limited but it is at least a start Phase 3 Junior Golfers + A hand or two from the older generation + support from golf clubs = more playing opportunity and certainly an opportunity to gain more experience from playing different courses, different layouts Phase 4 Junior Golfers + A hand or two from the older generation + support from golf clubs + key roles from national governing body = a gateway to more possibilities and opportunities in many aspects Phase 5 Junior Golfers + A hand or two from the older generation + support from golf clubs + key roles from national governing body + sponsors = now we are talking about more competitions and competitions produce champions...our future champions !! Which phase are we currently in? Are we on track to where we want the next generation to be? How far off are we from achieving it? I've not been in Singapore long enough to know in depth about these things in many aspects, but if I were to venture a wild guess, I'd say we are currently in between Phase 1 and Phase 2? Or am I way off? However, it is good to see there are more willing parties moving forward | |

| Some months back the mbgc office called me and asked if a junior could play in my flight cos I have one extra ball. I initially had no probs but I raised the issue of alcoholic consumption and cigs that the parent of the kid may not be comfortable with. So the mbgc had to tell the parents that we were going to do that if if they were okay with that, we were okay too.
That would be my only concern and definitely not playing ability....btw we got our ass whooped by a 15 year old with a hcp of 2. Damn.... | |

| Hi Slinger, thanks for your help! Really appreciate all of you that supporting young golfer! I am no longer golf as no a member of NSRCC, for my daughter to play NSRCC will be costly! She play with many senior players at Raffles (as she's adopted by RCC), enjoying her game with the senior players, which I think she can learn a lot of thing from senior players (and hopefully someday able to golf with you too! ) Now she will bet with uncle for drink. If you plan to play Raffles or MBGC, weekday afternoon, she will be happy to join! | |

| To Tiramisu, I understand how you feel! I do have the same experience, when we were waited at the registration counter, this group was 3 balls and in front of my daughter, they reject with silly reason! Which till today, my daughter still can remember his face and the way he talk... Anyway, they're only small bunch of these people who think highly on, so can't help..Thanks! | |

| To 9points, thanks! You're right! We're way too far compared to nearby country, so in another 4-5 years, or maybe 10 years? We don't have a strong golf team to compete with others | |

| Hi RLA, I clearly understand you point, most junior will not like to golf with smoker, because they cannot bear with the smell, but isn't golf course don't allow smoking? Drinking beer is ok, weather is too hot, sometime need to cool a bit. Happy golfing! | |

| Hi Slinger, Great! I look forward to that! Your daughter good to start now, my daughter start at 4+ and about 5-6 yrs old, she start to get a bit tired or dislike about golf! NSRCC currently having very strong junior team. My 2nd daughter start a bit late, she's now 8 yrs old and wait to get her handicap. | |
