Golf course in bukit timah

Just like to share.

I just played the 9 hole golf course in bukit timah this morning.

Golf course condition pretty bad. Most of the holes have temporary green which are worst than the green in executive course. Fairway is bad too.

Hopefully they can renovate and improve on it.

Currently not worth to play there

Just my view.

The new management just took over the place this year.

Still undergoing major renovation. So cant expect pristine condition.

The range was voted one of the worst in Singapore before... But now it's a tad better after the new management moved in... Hopefully they have more cash-flow to do something with the course...

Thanks for the info. It's not full 9 holes? Something like mandai?

Played there several times. personally its a pretty interesting course..up the hills down the slope..

Greens aside, condition is not that bad.. renovations going on. I am sure it will become better after the renovations are completed. .

Not sure about the condition last time though.. but the greens at mandai were equally bad last year before the current management took over..

If you are refering to Green Fairway, personally i think its a great couse for beginner. I remember when i first started to play game many many years ago.....good training ground. Cowgrass, cross water at first hole, play various lie , uphill, downhill...etc. Friends complain its lousy and i always tell them this...." If you can come back with even par, you are no longer a beginner.
