Taylormade Rocket Bladez tour vs Mizuno JPX825 pro

Anyone has any review when comparing the above two irons?

Especially for off centre hit or mis-hit ?

The ratings seem better for the Taylor Made. I tried my friend JPX 825 - quite like the nice contact feel. it. Never get a chance to try the TM RocketBlade. Look nice though.

However it does not state any off center hits...

I tried both irons before; my preference is Taylormade Rocket Baldez, the iron is really more forgiving and provide a balanced feel.... i think both swing weight is about the same, but since Taylormades are generally longer in length, it suits me better ...

Shall go and try out the bladez....

I bought the TM Rocket Bladez Tour last week but haven't got the chance to try it out at the range or green yet.

But I did tried these iron during the demo and kinda like the feel. Personally I like the look of this iron too.

Bought this set to replace my present TM MC TP iron.

Woah, mind sharing with us where did you buy it from and whats the cost? Was it the C-Tapers shaft?

I got my iron at Golf House Laguna. It c/w KBS Tour C-Tapers 95 gram shaft.

If I remember correctly, the price is around S$1100+ when I last saw at Isetan Scott sales. The wedge cost S$99/pc.

Turbo is correct.. You can get it below S$1k, without the wedges of course

OT leh, it's suppose to be TM Bladez Tour and JPX 825 Pro.

Anyway how to compared a forged 825 against Bladez Tour, which is non forged. Forged feel always better.

In my opinion, just mine, not necessarily.. I am currently using the Bladez Tour.. and it feels great too compared to the forged irons I had used before.. i am very satisfied with it.. i think it is more personal feel i guess.. as well as the way they manufacture the non-forged.

Why go for last year model?

Go & get TM Rocketbladez Tour!
They are better than TP MC

Have u tried hitting them side by side at Golfhouse Paragon? They have a launch monitor.

Hit both.

JPX825, has that authentic forged feel mizunos provide. However, being a cavity back. It feels more clickish compared to a true bladed forged.

Rocketbladez feels soft as well. Almost like forged. However, after prolonged hitting you can tell its like a "fake" soft feeling. Hard to describe. (this is in no way a bad thing, just a feel)

Off Center Rocketbladez performed slightly better to me. But not much.

My vote goes to JPX 825 simply coz Mizunos have better value and the finishing looks better.
Performance wise its had to differentiate for me.

Can anyone tell me what's the diff betw tour and non-tour for the rocket bladez? What about the stock shaft?
