I have using oral sun protection for many years. It has been effective in minimizing the after sun effects and discomfort. Try it and you would know the difference after 18h in the hot sun.

Whats the price like? Where can we get it?

Quite a number of places selling. Believe retail price $70+ for bottle of 60 capsules.

PM me if you are keen on buying as i can buy at discounted price.

SPF stands for sun protection factor. In medical terminology, this is protection from UVB rays in sunlight from burning the skin and initiating skin cancer. In layman terms, it gives us a rough indication of how long you can stay in the sun before your skin burns. For example, if you are prone to sunburn and your skin turns red after being in the sun for 10mins, an SPF15 lotion applied sufficiently will let you out in the sun for 10x15=150min before your skin burns; an SPF30 lotion will "protect" you for 300min, or 5h - good duration of a golf game.
I say rough indication because this calculation is also dependent on the sun's intensity, your geographical location, the time of day, amount of cloud cover, etc.
Bear in mind also that SPF only blocks UVB, and not UVA although most sunscreen lotions do contain some UVA ingredients like zinc oxide and titanium oxide. Sunscreens do not prevent you from getting tanned!
