Saw him threw his ball into the pond after he holed out that hole. I believed he's frustrated after hit twice into water

Would be even more embarrassing if he chucked it into the water from a nearer spot, huh?
Anyway, I suspect that he was looking for a spot which he felt was suitable and that he could get good contact to put it close.

His first shot into the water, the ball is in shallow part of water. Is he allowed to take next shot as where it is in the shallow water?
