Lost my scotty circa putter @ NSRCC driving range

Hi all,

Just returned home after a practice session at NSRCC driving range and found that I have left my scotty putter at the bay. Called the range office and asked if anyone picked up my putter at the bay n return it but alas no suck luck.

If anyone of you picked my putter; it's a Scotty Cameron Circa 62 putter, please have a heart and call me (97373095). It is not a brand new nor the best but it a limp to me. Do have a heart and return me. Peace

If not, it will be a long n painful road in search of another trusty putter.

Well, this is the best place to get the word out that a Scotty has gone missing. I'm not optimistic that you'll see it again but I hope that I'm wrong. So, fellow GRians... let your friends know that a Scotty went missing at NSRCC and if they come across it, that they do return it.

Went to driving range at warren this evening with colleague. He left his phone at the bench, I tried calling and a kind bro called back and informed that he found it n will pass the phone to a teaching staff there. Don't lose hope.

Hi Willy, I know it is scant consolation cos a trusted putter is priceless ... but theft of golf clubs at a driving range can be claimed under golf insurance.

Derek, I've been meaning to ask this.

Do the insurance companies distinguish (or even care) between theft (i.e. someone nicked my putter from my bag without me knowing) vs. loss by negligence (i.e. crap... I left my driver on the tee box and I can't find it anymore)?

I'm sure insurance companies do distinguish betw theft and negligence. I believe they won't pay if loss was due to own negligence, or if there was a hint of negligence resulting in the occurence of the theft.

Thank goodness I have only claimed once on my golf insurance...back in 2008. It was for one of my wedges....left it on the green. Only remembered it two holes later...turned back...couldn't find it. Reported the loss, with exact details, and insurer paid.

Sorry to hear that bro! Next time I'll browse around local golf websites and ecommerce I'll keep an eye on that and will let you know if it'll appear somewhere around. Guess if all bros would do the same you have good chances to see it again. The putter is the most personal of all clubs and it's always bad to lose it..

Strange why bring Putter to range?
I alway remove putter, golf balls, umbrella, to make it lighter,
I don't think you can find your putter, the guy or gal who found it, wow!
it's a Scotty Cameron putter, you can kiss good bye!

Unless that guy/gal is a damn HONEST fella and take the trouble to return
to the Range! chances are slim!

U never know lets hope the putter will return to the owner soon!

I was planning to spend some time on the range n putting green when I arrived ard 4pm but alas, wifey called n insisted that I need to fetch her at 6pm. So was in a rush when I left the range.

I usually leave my putter in the car; gas it simply a lousy day!

I lose my there also few year back.....
I can know how the feel....
