| Riverdale, 30 - 45 mins from Bangkok, allows one ball on weekday when I was there in April this year. Don't think they have changed this practice. A bit pricey, but course condition and layout is much better that many of the courses around Suvarnabhumi airport. | |

| there is a public course call Unico Grande, cheap on weekends, even cheaper on weekdays. The best part is that it is about 15-20 mins drive. Course is narrow but long and challenging.
If you do play there, remember to book and... eat at the opposite restaurant for their famous Issan Grilled Chicken.

| Nothing else beside cheap at Unico, chicken farm course IMO and is not a long course. | |

Unico isnt nice to play. Flat, paddy field course with small drains all over the place. Can do krungthep kreetha which is next to it.

| Nope...famous holes found at our own Laguna new course.
A bit of history on Royal Gems..founded by those people involved in the gold, jewellery and gems businesses. Just like Pulai Spring where many founder members are in the provision shops businesses.

| Royal Gems first nine does contain some memorable holes of world-renowned courses, eg bethpage black, royal troon, old course road hole etc. 2nd nine ,mostly composite of famous Augusta holes. for me, the greens are not as undulating as Augusta ones and probably not as hard as the real thing? Still course in immaculate condition (played mid-november) so well worth a try! | |

So i am thinking, can we just box up our golf bag and check in as lagguage?? my cousin did that once from uk to singapore. but of cos they are not budget airline, so maybe it different. anyway, i have no idea so if any bro know the answer, do update me? thank you.

| Just tried Bangpoo golf course. Course is relatively flat and not many trees. Greens are fast and all have front bunkers to clear. Relatively easier course compared to other Bangkok courses. Journey there takes about 40-45 mins and green fees is 2300 baht.
For other interested golfers reference.

| Went to the opening of Night Golf at Lakewood Link last night.
1. Same club house as Lakewood, take about 5 min by buggy to the link course. 2. Is a short course and the lighting are better than Pine Hurst.
Photo coming up... | |
