| Having test them, I'd say the R1 is better than the R11s. However, I didn't find the R1 to be that much better than last year's RBZ. As for the new Callaways... they are in a league of their own. Well, maybe Adams can join them too.. | |

kekeke... Actually, I took both the R1 and my own last year's RAZR Fit TA for 'a spin'. Same shaft, hit them head-to-head and I found last year's Callaway is consistently better than the R1. Longer, tighter dispersion and feels better. To me, anyway. As I always said, it could be different from one swing to another. But Trackman numbers never lied... Shaft was the New Diamana B-series from Mitsubishi Rayon.

I only try it on the new xhot, I thought the result is better than what I got from the R9 or Fit. A customer came the other day with an X Hot he bought in Singapore. Gets to hit a few, but the B-series was heavier than what I am playing. Can't tell for sure, since it was only 3 hits. But it didn't look bad, either. Still prefer the RAZRs, though.

| Honestly, never tried RAZR before. BUt always though that tm drivers are more widely used. Better or not, I guess it's one man's meat, another's poison.
I am considering the R11 and RBZ.
Went to GD yesterday and prices were the same.
Staff advised that both are quite different. RBZ is longer and not so adjustable. R11 is shorter, head bigger and can adjust a ton of things.

I might be wrong, but i am pretty sure that the R11 is not bigger than RBZ. R11 is smaller at 440cc. I tried the R1 and RBZ stage 2 at the recent Golf Digest demo. R1 felt better than the RBZ stage 2. However the R1 doesnt feel significantly better than my r9. Just my take. So i think you can hunt for a pre-owned R11s/R11/R9.

| What is the difference between Global and Asian specs? Is the head different? or just different shaft? | |

| The difference is in the shaft (Weight, Flex). THe swing weight will be also different due to the difference in shaft used. | |

| tried both R1 and RBZ stage 2 and settled with RBZ Stage 2. Personally, I found the sound off the R1 too deafening. My left ear was ringing after a few hits. I also didnt find it worthed to pay a couple of hundred dollars more for that additional tuning (which I will never get to use). I am coming from a RBZ user perspective so the stage 2 was an ups for me because it is lower launching somehow. I think it has a deeper clubface as compared to its predecessor too. My 2 cents.
P.S. Have you tried the Stage 2 FW ? Its like magic to me... no kidding. It adds another problem though: My 3W is further than my driver (both stage 2). Makes me feel stupid having a driver.

| then you should tee off with your wood 3 instead. some people has the same "problem" like you. they can hit wood 3 longer than their driver. | |

I recall seeing the plumber's neck version at Funan. Make a call before heading down though!
