What it is? The Distance Challenge will allow golfers to unlock their potential distance with the VRS Covert. The rules are simple. 1. You will be asked hit three shots with your current driver. Your total distance and club head speed from your best shot will be recorded.
2. You will be asked to hit three shots with the VRS Covert driver. The total distance and club head speed from your best shot will be recorded and compared with the total distance and club head speed of your current driver.
After hitting both the current driver and the VRS Covert driver, the total distance of the VRS Covert will be subtracted with the total distance of their driver which will give us the “Distance Gained.”
3. At the end of the Distance Challenge (April 24), the person with the most "Distance Gained" will win a trip to play at the prestigious tournament in Bintan! The Ria Bintan Open!

Question...
What if a golfer 3 shots with his current driver were all lousy? Maybe topped and ball travel maximum of 20 meters only.
Then he hold the Nike driver and proceeded to hit the shot of his life...Maybe 180meters.
Wouldn't his 160meters distance gained be very hard to beat?
And those people who drive 250m with own driver and 280m with Nike will lose?
Just wondering....

True..
What if the player's own driver is way farther than the Nike's..? Doesn't this show the nike driver is not as good...? Quite embarrassing i think...

Anyone got a Triple X stiff shaft? I got a 8.5* head somewhere. ..I can build a new "gamer" driver for this cintest. On the other hand if they r gonna give the nike balls as the prize.. I"ll pass.

What Nike is trying to do here is to measure: The same swing speed with the same smash factor Differences between own driver actual distance vs Nike convert driver.

Saw one at the range yesterday, honestly the sound did not appeal to me at all. Don't know if it was the indian or the arrow, but not impressive distance.
Might have to strike it off my list
