your coach should be able to spot your tight grip... wonder why he did not

Yeah. from experience, maintaining a constant grip pressure is really important.

if you tighten or loosen your grip halfway while swinging, bad things might most probably happen. lol.

It's happen to me too.. Playing for 2 months already.

I rested for one week, still the same.
If still persistent, will visit orthopedist soon.

i find those glucosamine tablets help.

If you are experiencing pain on your right elbow...

It could either be a Tennis elbow syndrome or a Golfer's elbow.

I had mine and went to a massage theraphy session and sauna to removed the pain away.

The best advice to give you right now is to consult a good physical therapist who could diagnosed the pain. You see it may not be Muscular pain but from Uric acid.

I know becoz I have experienced it. Its not from holding the club tight. But its the accumulation of "Uric acid" at your fingers...and may also happen on our knee joints or feet too.

You have to find the real culprit first and fast to avoid further injury.

In my own case, I am taking massage therapy and sauna sessions 3x a month to ease and maintain a less painful way to play Golf.
