| Recently I played at Palm Villa and was horrified by the condition of the course.... All muddy, with GUR all over some of the holes. The tee box were all moved since some holes are nearly unplayable... So coin the new term... unplayable hole... sigh | |

| I just played there on Sunday as well and experienced the same thing - a lot of surface water in some places... managed to lose a couple of balls despite hitting them on the fairway! | |

| same experience! will not go there again...the fairways are partially destroyed by muddy buggy tracks..hitting from the rough seems easier than fairway | |

| I tried tg puteri over the weekend. Would say fairway is ok. But the putting green is quite bare. Sad was thinking to organise playing a game at palm villa which part of thr course is bad? Even ioi is bad? | |

| Thank you davidbrown82nz for your updates, guess will avoid the place for the moment. Maybe batam/bintan is a better choice at this moment. most of the green are quite well maintain. | |

| Take a break. Let the course recover. The fairways have been battered badly with the Dec rain. It's expected . | |

| well... i'm more curious that the fairways are totally "destroyed" ... all the other courses even tho have some water ponding is not so bad...
And this is really Palm villa... a very popular place for Singaporean golfers
Just sad that maintenance and upkeep of the place has fallen very short

| Dear all,
I think not only Palm Villa's fairway. I played Starhill, Ponderosa and Horizon Hills last couple of weeks and found that these fairways are also not spared.
According to the caddies and marshalls, the heavy downpours in December did the fairways no favours. Also, there were a few "irresponsible" golfers who drove their buggies onto the wet fairways and worsen the problem.
Like what fata says, let the courses "rest" a while and they should be back to normal.
Best regards, BruiseLee
