Hi all

I'm thinking of buying myself my first brand new iron set, and I'm considering Ping. Is there any recommended Ping store in town or at some pro shops?

Thanks a lot!

You can try Punggol or Bishan Range in which you can test out all the clubs to see which one suits you the best.
The staff there at both places are very helpful and you can seek clarifications if you are in doubt.
I got mine custom fit in 2009 and still using it......

From what I've heard Ping are among the best for SGI, better than TM. Which TM would you suggest? I was thinking at Ping g20 as I guess after g25 will come out the g20 will be cheaper..

You can also try the Ping shop at the basement of Bukit Batok West driving range @ Home Academy. The guys there (Mas and Yunos) are very helpful. They fitted me with a set when i took up golf again ;ast year. Heppy golfing!

No problem. Anyway ask for a fitting (wood/iron/putter) first before biying anything.

If I go with Ping, I will (just because I believe with Ping fitting is included, right?). If I'd go for other clubs I think it's a bit too early for a fitting..

Hi guys, just got fit today for my g20 irons, thanks for all advices and pms. One more question to Ping users, as my set is a 5-PW, I have to integrate with a couple of wedges (probably 50° and 56°) and with a hybrid (thinking about the 23°). As for the latter, if I stay with Ping and keep the loft gaps I'd go with the i20 hybrid as it looks more forgiving than the g20, but not sure about wedges: only thing I know is I'm looking at thin soles wedges (ike the Vokeys or Cleveland 588) as they are more versatile and playable and I tend to play them ok. Any suggestion?
Thanks!

I think you should consider the 20 deg hybrid instead of the 23 deg with the appropriate shaft of coutse. find the extra club length useful.
