A Big Thank You to all friends at GR and BFG supporters

its the last day of the year and i am getting a bit sentimental about leaving 2012 behind. Today is the first time i have worked on the last day of the year for a long time. The reason was we had a couple of fitting that was arrange and our new colleague did not know the significant of this day to me.

nevertheless, we cannot disappoint a golfer who have come all the way from Surabaya because he has tried the ZEN and die die must have it before he leave for home tomorrow and the lady golfer who must have the Yonex with the Bassara shaft to match her golf bag (rest assured that she has taken the loaner out with great results to match).

Enough of sidetrack - 2012 has been a year of changes - people, products, the challenge of the cyber shopping, the advent of golf knowledge, competition, global slowdown, service expectations and many many more changes that constantly keep us on our toes.

in my former life, i used to work in an industry that strive on stiff competition in a small marketplace and i believe competition brings out the best in us. it makes us change the way we look at our customers, our suppliers and ourselves. in a positive manner, it makes us dig deeper, work harder and give more.

i am grateful that it makes us go home each day, trying to make the next day better and more meaningful for our customers and it has also led us to contemplate, innovate and appreciate.

The success of some of our new products have been ground breaking. i am quietly confident that we sold more putters and iron sets than some major brands and i am confident that the Fishy wedges will not do too badly either in the near future. It also show us that when you have a good product many will see the merit and support brand performance over brand aspiration.

In short your confidence, support and belief in BFG have spurred us from "Dare to Dream" to "Live the Dream".

i thank you from the bottom of my heart for making 2012 complete and despite what business analysts have to say of 2013, our friends and supporters will help us navigate the challenging waters ahead.
