IOI Palm Villa Golf

Hi bros/sis,

I'm thinking of going to IOI next monday for a game, so just wanna check out if there's any promos or online booking which is cheaper?

what else should i look out for? i only have 2 ball for the flight i guess its ok right?

Just came back from Palm Villa. Two ball too. I booked thru Oscar. Paid RM$234 nett. Fanstatic weather today.

RM234 per person or for 2??

how's the condition like lately? having a game this coming weekend and it will be great if course is not soggy and all

Played there yesterday. Buggy on course after 9.30am. Good condition both fairway and green. Played at Putra and Palm course.

better condition than usual. Some soggy holes which were only buggy on track... otherwise, all buggy on course.

If it rains (especially a lot) for a couple of days, then good luck... it will be soggy.

Otherwise, it's ok I suppose.

Always played Palm n IOI bcoz Putra first three holes soggy n some damaged fairway.
Bt last week weather was gd, back to sunny days..

I was there too! lol. I was there in the afternoon.

Yeah. Putra first hole soggy. i hit a nice draw and cant find my ball. i think plug.

Hate it when that happens. Other than that, good weather and overall condition of the fairways and greens are not bad.

haha so far sounds positive as long as i avoid putra. can't wait for the weekend then! thanks for the update guys

I remembered years ago i went into a "clay" like bunker there, i had to putt my way out.

But when i played last sat, the sand feels very fine. Did they change to better quality sand for the bunkers?

yea...some bunkers surrounding e green filled w new sand!

Today I asked Oscar to send me weekend rates for Palm Villa. Got a shock at the prices quoted:

Weekdays Mon-Fr1: RM103
Sat/Sun AM: RM238
Sat PM: RM198
SUn PM: RM170

On top of that all prices Oscar quoted, he also added : PRICES ARE ONLY APPLICABLE FOR 4 IN A FLIGHT BOOKING - in other words MINIMUM 4BALL..

In disbelief i smsed him to reconfirm if the 4ball rule also applies to the weekday RM103 rate, he relied "YEAP!"

Wonder how come PV's prices now so high?
