| Had the privilege of testing the upcoming new balls for 2013
I must say its outstanding..
Tested the ProV1 balls for 1 round..
1. More solid feel on impact 2. Gained 5m-6m on drives 3. Much better bite 4. Excellent feel on chipping and pitching...
No wonder I lost the feel on chipping.. Cos I was not using proV1s...
Good job Titleist! | |

still more familair with the ProVs Am just kidding with you bro. I benefit using Prov ball for my short and chipping too but do not benefit me on my drive due to my low swing speed. Have you try Srixon Z star ball? I seems to get better flight with my drive and better spin on short game with it, for me at less.

haha i know la... tried also.. but i feel the ball a bit heavy.. i use the Z-Star... not the XV.. in the end, still seems to play better with ProVs Maybe like my friend said... its physcological... I changed drivers here and there... at the end still back to my R7 Patriot... haha

| Yes, you are right. The Srixon Z star does feel slightly heavy compared to Prov ball. You does have good feel too .. Feel player like me ? Hehehehe I do understand what you mean on the driver thing .. Sometime, I feel like going and get a set of more forgiven club and maybe I can swing better | |

| I was given a sleeve of these "white box" demo balls by Titleist (I have the ProV1x version). They feel very good although I play with the current / previous versions anyway
However, I would honestly say that with a 13 hcap I am not good enough to feel any huge difference between these Test balls and the current models. Perhaps the one thing I would say is that i seemed to be hitting the ball a bit higher with my driver, but again I can't really say this is solely due to the ball as I have just moved from to a new big stick
In summary, I think they are excellent but I was happy with the current ones anyway

| I tried both the ProV1x & Srixon Z-Star XV. Srixon seems softer and fly further. However, due to my slow swing speed, I can't get the max out of both balls. Still enjoying the Bridgestone E-6 which travels further then both. Basically, you will need a fast swing speed to enjoy these superb balls. | |
