Mizuno Owners Thread - Soft and Buttery

MP 53 is probably one of the more (if not the most) forgiving MP line of irons in recent times. I've used MP 52 in the past relatively forgiving, but still punishing if one is not sharp in the ball striking dept.

But now, MP 53 is really more forgiving for me and very sweet to hit. I reckon if your hcp is below 20, you should be able to handle it. That's my view. Good luck with your search.

Btw, what made you conclude that you need to adjust lie angle, did a club fitter advised you that?Most club fitters can help adjust lie angle. BFG, Wiz Golf, Golf Studio, GH Club Fitter, etc.
Prices shouldn't vary that much. If you bought your irons from GH, then the easiest to pick up the phone and call em

i suggest you go to GH Paragon and do a swing analysis. They can let you try all the Mizuno irons you like, with different types of shafts they have.

That way, you will find a more suitable iron for your swing speed, swing plane, etc.

i suggest you go to GH Paragon and do a swing analysis. They can let you try all the Mizuno irons you like, with different types of shafts they have.

That way, you will find a more suitable iron for your swing speed, swing plane, etc.

Hi Glim,

Never tried MX-23 but the MX series are very forgiving irons. Using the MX-200 myself, very easy to hit but need to improve my swing. I think you can search the internet for more information.

MX23 is forged? If forged cannot compared with R7 lah. Forged feel is definitely better.

Hi Glim,
