| The US version sucks. The Jap version is much better, cooler. SG dun have my size, so I order from TSG and had them ship it to my US mailbox | |

| Hi to all Mizuno owner. Me a newbie to golf and had never owns any clubs in my life. Currently into my 2nd month of picking golf up and was thinking to get my very own set of iron.
Not as if I know anything to all various brands, but simply finds that Mizuno looks very very cool! After shopping around for 2 weeks, I am dead sure I only want Mizuno!
Can any kind soul here pls advise should I be getting MX 200 or MX 300. Pls to take into consideration that I am an amateur. As the price difference is a only around $200 I was thinking to go for the newer model which is the MX 300 however kind of worried the clubs is TOO GOOD for me this newbie.
I do understand that I can actually get those beginners set however as I am sure I am in a long haul might as well get something better, sorry to sound really new to this but I really am.
Pls give me all advise possible, it will all be greatly appreciated.

| Go for the MX300! MX200 is too chucky that is why they came up with MX300 | |

Btw, only Golf Hse distributes Mizuno golf clubs?

| The MX300s are great clubs but I don't know if they are ideal first-time clubs. They are solid with a wonderful feel, but not as forgiving as say the MX200s. I have the MX300s and when struck right, they give an out-of-this-world feeling and they allow more workability but at the expense of some forgiveness.
Depending on your skill-level, the MX300s are a good set to pick up. But if you are new to the game, then it makes more sense to consider the MX200s, MX1000s etc.
Just my 2c. | |

| my first set of irons is MX200s, i bought them before mx300s were released, no regrets, they are easier and more forgiving than the mx300s. but it depends and varies person to person, some pple use blades as their first iron set, its down to your own personal choice, | |

| Sometimes it's very personal when comes to what iron. I am a high handicapper but using blade irons bcos I just love the looks of it. Anyway IMHO both irons are for beginners to mid handicappers. Buy the one that you can play better during your trial at golf house. | |

| Also, what you do regardless of the iron set you buy is to try and get the set fitted. The fitting process can take about 45m-1hr but it is very useful as the irons are customized to suit your swing, e.g. lie of the clubhead, weight of the shaft, grip etc.
If you do this at GH, I think the process is free if you buy the set. Check beforehand to be sure.

IMHO, as long as the club looks and feel good to you, it is half the battle won in getting that swing right. As such, decide based on what looks best / feel most comfortable to you. Phychologically, you'll be more confident in your execution and be more willling to put in effort to improve. I don't think it is shallow like you've mentioned. I am quite a newbie but am blessed to have the opportunity to play the mx25, mx200 and mx300 in my short golfing history. I think the difference in the level of forgiveness between them is small during actual play. A badly executed swing with a mx25 or mx200 does not fly any much better than one executed with a mx300. Hence, I'm happily stuck with my mx300 despite my beginner status cos they're great looking clubs . What's left to focus on is only my swing .

That is why I am struggling with them . Hopefully I'll taste the sweet after some bitterness now .
