As with most business, getting workers is major headaches.
They have decided to closed for good

Soon Heng Fishhead at Race Course? What a pity, that's a curry shop I used to frequent when my office was at Dunearn Road.

Yes that the one, at the junction of Race Course & Kinta Road.
Their last day of operation is 31 Oct.
Hainz...Time to look for another good fish curry joint.

MOM and government policies to stem foreign labour has put a lot of strain on businesses that requires a fair amount of labour. Even a thriving thai restaurant outside my house have to close down because it cannot bring in thai chefs and they expect that job to be given to a local.

if you cannot get time slot to see Dr Du, the recent change in foreign labour employment also have something to do with this. case in hand - the boss of a floor polishing had lost all his workers due to the change, he had to employ singaporeans who turn up one day then disappear. in the end he had to do all the hard labour himself and thus end up with a really strained back. finally good thing that Dr Du is a PR.

more food joints will have to close.....and people are still complaining about giving away jobs that nobody wants to do.
