For a start, i think you need to have a good command of english and also past experience in such events. Singapore Open is a big event but Handa aint that small either..... So i guess Asian Tour has confidence in Ivan and since its a joint sanction event, so they went with Ivan. Anyway, its not an easy job...

| To be fair, I think jloo61 did before for Singapore Master in Laguna years ago? So how did you get it then? | |

| Joseph, if you are interested, you can always write to WSG (World Sports Group). address your letter to Michelle Young. they don't pay for your services and last i remember not even meal.
Our thai guys did the world amateur championship at Amata Spring last week and everything from accomodation and meal was paid for. on top of that, Augusta National paid for every shaft, grip and repair done and the appointment was made more than half a year back. in singapore i get a call a week or 2 before the event and hence we have stopped doing any free service in Singapore.
take the Honda LPGA event for example, the club fitting gets a 5 year contract and was given airtime for publicity.
to be fair, ivan does have experience in this area and he is the right person to do it because of his enthusiasm and experience. Uncle Phua is also a work-horse. Duffy besides the command of english, i have not seen a better team than the Thais.....period.

| Hi Guys. Firstly, thanks so much for your reply. it is great to see your support n wishes to Ivan. and thanks so much for lifting my banned too in this forum. Thanks sunny.
Guys, do take it easy for my question to Ivan. i am just asking him a simple n honest question. but my good friend Eric had give me a great reply. i am not at all trying to take his tasks at the spore open, am sure he has good connection n good will with WSG to take this tasks.
Hope you guys dont mind me reply you all one by one with my more sincere answer.
Shamusan, cool answer. Ivan is handsome, maybe there are some gays there, joking Drawbias: Pls undertand, i didnt ask for it. is great Ivan get it. thanks Duffader: Handa Classic was a very rush job. i knew how Ivan got it and thankful to Mr Phua that he was helping.
Enwee, yes it is quite say that clubfitters in spore dont get much exposure after the tournaments. Maybe Asian PGA should help to highlights all the offical helpers.
Eiji. i am a Certified Class A pro clubfitter. i studied my course in USA from Golfsmiths(Tom Wishon was my master trainer) and PCS. also trained by Jeff Jackson for Putter fitting. Did my Understanding of golfswing by Harvey Panick Golf school. was the offical Club repairer for 1999 Singapore Open and did 2 years at Laguna for Singapore Masters. Even since i left the shop at laguna range since jan, i am just taking a rest for a year. I am not telling anyone how good i am, i am just here to share n contribute. this is for ur info.
Guys, do take not that i am not here to hit anyone at all. For those who knows me, u know what kind of a person i am.
Hit me with ur bests shoot. if you have any question to ask me anything about Golf.
Sorry for the long love stories. Thanks so much for your kind understanding. Cheers to all

message truncated.
DGman Dear Master, WSG might not be paying because the last few people that paid for some form of services have all been sentenced to jail terms of around 12 weeks, and more to come. I guess the lesson learnt when it comes to services is, when in doubt, don't pay. Many Thanks.
