Taylormade R9 Irons

HI Bros,

have anyone tried the latest R9 irons from TM? Any comments like how is the feel or the overall experience as compared to the R7 irons?

Backside itchy thinking of changing my R7 CGB max irons for the new R9 irons....

jus curious arh.. the R9 the design is nice?.. i find it rather plain lei. a bit like R7 irons..

i think it looks great! not as beautiful as a mizzy blade but still looks pretty good for GI irons. hate busy looking irons with gaudy graphics like the new nike machspeed. sure they do seem to give the impression that more technology was involved in making the iron but i'm a firm believer that less is more when it comes to looks.

feel wise i'm not too sure. will try it out when i get the chance!

I tried already, and from a Taylormade/Adidas FREAK of nature, i think they're pretty crappy... If you really wanna invest, go down to Greenfield and look for Tony. He's got a set of Taylormade Tour Preferred with NSPro950 shafts and upgraded Golf Pride grips going for under $600. Say 'Jason' recommend wan ok! can get less..

Same irons as i'm using, but mine is with Project X 6.0 shafts.. You'll love the feel.
