TaylorMade Irons

Was surfing the net, looking for new irons when I surfed into the TaylorMade Japanese site and just realized that TM has quite a few irons in the current lineup!!

Got R9, Burner(09), Tour Preferred Forged, R5XL Plus, Tour Preferred, Burner Forged, Burner Plus....
I was under the impression that the tour preferred was forged, but now that they have a TP forged, I guess it's safe to assume tha the "normal" Tour Preferred are not forged...
Wah Lau eh.. more choices = more headaches or just lighter wallet.?? hahhaaa

SS, the R9 irons look fancy! Cavity back too! The Burner Plus ones look pretty nice too. Good site... great line-up... no $ to change irons though.

got for beginner set ma? good if can use till intermediate....

read about the R9 irons at golfwrx ... and form your opinion... get it in the US where they have all the contraptions to see which ones you prefer....

Their US TP line hasn't been forged since the R7 TPs. My guess is that its due to trying to lower the manufacturing cost of their ever changing line.

Anyway, the R9 irons should be avail for demo soon. Sg actually has the privilege of having both US and Jap models readily avail while here in US, those JDM stuff is very much sought after.
