| Wow - all the pros with the pro-sounding equipment...
For me, I bought a full set of the Mizuno Opti clubs for ladies when I was getting my PC. Cos I'm very petite... so my pro advised that Mizuno clubs are best for me to start with, as they are light...
For my full set, I have a driver, a 4 wood (loft 20), 7 wood (loft 27), irons 5 to 9, a P, a S, and a putter.
Putter is a blade one, seems like I can't really get the ball to go where I want it to... Could be my skills of course, but also thinking if another putter would be good...
As for my irons... I am still trying to get the swing right... hit better with my woods... so am sure if I should get a hybrid to replace the irons...
Any advice from the pros here? Any suggestions on the hybrid to buy too? Preferably L flex of course... the cobra baffler tws sounds tempting...

| Eiji,
my suggestions, as im a "golf slut",
good irons. forged a bit tough to use for new comers. But good feel when hit sweet! Yum!
Good putter too (branded sia!)
for wedges, get vokeys or TM z groove. Tom Watsons wedges also good.
recommend Ping woods. good!!
Cheers! | |

| andrew-golf: hit a few clubs, ap1, ap2, cobra SZ, S9, Ping G10, I10, V2, Burner 09s, MX200, MP52. Loved the feeling of forge, growing into them slowly. Putter, tried SCs loved them, but the Bettinardis was being sold for a good price when i bought my irons.
wedges, yeah will love to test the Vokeys, but also inclined to try the nikes.
snowman: if you are coming for wed night starry starry night i will be there, you are welcome to approach me and have a go with them. i don't hit the driver that well yet, but can hit them longer than the R580s, probably the bigger cc head.

Hi eiji Thanks. Have been trying to go for the starry starry night but always fail to do so due to work. I guess you might have tested several drivers and eventually decided to buy Dymo2. Can share how you feel about using this driver ? If i manage to go down this wed, will give the dymo2 a try, anyway,i cant hit my driver well also...haha !!

maybe it was a good day for me, anyway its not just about distance, i would take 180m and just be more consistent with my driver.
