| Team USA is pathetic. 10-6 lead into final day and end up losing. Missing alot of crucial putts while Team Europe made them. Played so well on the first 2days but I guess the pressure got to them. | |

| Do anyone find it ironic? TW had one of his worst season in 2010 but he perform well during the Ryder Cup at Celtic Manor and this year he had a good season with 3 wins and played terribly at the Ryder Cup. | |

| To be honest, I was rooting for Team USA, but full credit to Team Europe who pulled off what seemingly is an impossible task.
Rose and Colsaerts were simply impressive during the entire tournament, especially Rose. And not forgetting IJP and his putting...
On a brighter note for Team USA, it's actually the so-called Ryder Cup rookies than carried them throughout the tournament. Hopefully this means a brighter future for Team USA in subsequent Ryder Cups.

- I'm still rooting for Team Europe. I know it's an uphill battle but I think that they would fare well in singles. The Americans did well in pairs but they feed off each other's fist-pumps. When it's a solo game, I'd like to believe that the scenario and pressure is different.
But then again, this could be hogwash and the Americans might sweep Europe through and through.
I'm hoping not and can't wait for lies ahead Solo games are sooo different. Team Europe were just astounding and the Americans cracked under pressure. When they saw that their early leaders were collapsing, they crumbled. The Ryder Cup seems more intense than other tournaments so it's really difficult to stay focused since you're not playing for $ (which all of these folks already have heaps of). They're playing for pride and honour, which $ cannot buy. It is earned. It almost seemed like a reversal of roles. Traditionally, the Yanks played very well in singles as they are more like a collection of 12 individuals. This tournament they surprised me by doing so well in foursomes and four ball team play that I thought they will win by a huge margin in the singles. Vice versa for Team Euro. But this year they were outplayed in the team events but they put in stunning individual performance in their singles. Well done. It was very dramatic for the neutrals to watch, I cannot Imagine if one is a European or American last night watching it. Must be heart stopping!

| I do not know what other would says but I think Tiger is an disappointment in this Ryder cup. Expecting too much from him ? I think Phil had played much better and do not forget Jim F.

| Then it should be 5 because Kaymer was once number 1 also. Poulter was on fire and although I don't quite like him, it was a joy to watch him pumped up the fighting spirit. I didn't watch the singles because I thought it will be a walk in the park for USA and I was rooting for EUR. Read a lot of the news today and it was truly exciting and dramatic. | |

| From the American side; Stricker and Furyk played badly. It's a disappointment to see TW winless.
But, in fairness to TW, he actually played well Friday and Saturday on his own ball. IMHO, partly due to screwed match-up from Love. Knowing the amazing singles record from Tiger, Tiger should have been put out early to get a point.
Tiger will probably never say it to the media, but I figure he was burning about being last.

Actually Tiger's putt did not matter anyway. It is just a matter of drawing or losing and either way the Europeans retain the cup.

No, he won't. IF he made the putt, he would have given USA some face in drawing the score 14-14. Becos he didn't, he draw the match with Molinari. Hence, the score 13.5-14.5... saw that putt Live on TV this morning, it wonders me how he missed that putt. It was a given for a person of his ability.. U can see he wasn't himself over his putt. What a comeback for Team Europe!

Actually Tiger's putt did not matter anyway. It is just a matter of drawing or losing and either way the Europeans retain the cup. In fact you're right here ... Even with a 14-14 draw, which would have been enough for Team Europe as holders to take the cup back ...
