I think the question will be if we talent search a local born Singaporean and provide everything like what are given to the foreign talents, will he/she be able to produce the same result? Who is willing to do that? Will the parents allow their children to take this route? Sports career are short, Singapore still does not have the market for sportsperson after they retire from competitive sports.

Just like any job that Singaporeans don't want or cannot deliver, we have to get FT.Be it the lowly HDB cleaner to the ping pong girls.

Either live with it or you can take up the challenge and be a sports person.

Think about it 250K for 4 yrs of sweat and pain, it's not alot to go by when your career ends in your 30s.
