| Hi folks, as i am pretty new to the golf scene. I will like to engage a coach to introduce me to the fundamentals of golf swing and techniques etc. I have seen some at Laguna while trying to self-coach my swing with my no.7 and based on tips given by friends.... however, i am not making real progress.
Will it be possible that i can get some contacts for a good golf coach with a good programme?
thanks! | |

| I'm working with Allen and he gives you homework which I like, so that I can work on my game when he is not around. He also takes a step by step approach - there is focus every lesson.
I've also heard good things about Ren from some of my friends.
Since you practice at Laguna, you can just approach either of them and start talking. Work with a coach who you can trust and communicate well with.

| since this week is Justin's first week in Laguna, I would rec him. He used to be from Warren. A lot of ppe i know is sad when he switched from west to east.
search for Jhan's post or the Low-Han Golf postings on what ppe say about him here in GR. Don take my word only.
been to a 20 min short game lesson with him and i learnt a whle lot on it.
Oh yes, his frens for some reason all call him Han bao bao as well.

| I'm halfway through the six lesson package with Ren Chiat and it has been great.

| I dunno Daniel. So my recommendation is biased.
Justin Han-burger is a good coach. He delivers his instructions as simply and as effective as possible. Short game guru as well.

thanks! I am left handed.. But if you have never seen me play you wouldn't know cuz I demonstrate all shots right handed In fact, it's great for a right-hander to learn from a left-hander coz all the demo shots by the coach is just like a mirror image. This is based on my experience of learning from a left-hander for many years.
