IMHO, Tiger needs Rory to falter in order to win. 5 strokes is quite a bit to catch. Apparently, the wind will pick up later in the day....it will be fun!

Did you read about Carl Pettersson got 2 stroke penalty in hole 1 on final round ?
Pettersson’s tee shot at the first hole drifted right of the fairway and just into a hazard, as he played his approach to the green he brushed a leaf – a breach of Rule 13-4c, moving a loose impediment in a hazard – and was informed by Price after teeing off on No. 4 of the two-stroke penalty, turning his par at the first into a double bogey-6.

did he not win his last US Open by 8 strokes too ? Scary... when he is playing well he makes the game look too easy.
So we hv 2 international winners out of the 4 majors.. well done Rory...

How about practice swing at the bunker. I thought the club should not touch the sand...or tournament rule rules otherwise.

Tournament rules state that there are no bunkers in the kiawah course
The way I read it, it's kinda like cop out by the PGA after the debacle with Dustin Johnson last PGA championship.
So the players get to hit practice swings in sand bunkers
Tiger has the gifted talent, immense golfing skill and the killer instinct to win major championships but unfortunately lack the element of luck ... He failed to capitalize on the easy birdie putt opportunities during the first few holes in the 3rd round ... Very un-Tiger especially in the 3rd & 4th rounds ... Better luck next time, Tiger!

Agree with u.. lacking luck another point maybe he was awed by Rory's choice of red, a color Tiger has always been wearing... In color psychology if you want to draw attention, use red. It is often where the eye looks first. Red is the color of energy. It's associated with movement and excitement. People surrounded by red find their heart beating a little faster and often report feeling a bit out of breath. Wearing red clothes will make you appear a bit heavier and certainly more noticeable

In fact, a recent study confirms previous reports that athletes wearing red uniforms win competitions more often than opponents dressed in other colors. Researchers are now hard at work deciphering the mystery behind this puzzling phenomenon.

just as I have posted earlier, if its not TW, it would probably be R-Mac or Keegan.
What amazes me on R-Mac putting the ball is ....he doesn't do those putting stroke dry swing"
Once he see's the putting line, he just putts.
I am also curious what swing changed did he changed and shaft in order to get his "fighting form" back.
