| i think we all the same generation. If you have 双喜, you are ok, but if you have 双喜PF4, you're the king! i used to have double fish bat with 729 rubber. used to play TT like crazy in the 80s. Redhill area. still remember that TT tables at Community Centres around that areas super super hot on weekends. Wake up at 7am to climb over the fence to "choop" the tables so that we can play later when it opens at 10am. By the way, there is a TT forum. Bros who wanna find a place to play search there, there are a few places.. I'm quite AMK side has one too http://sgpingpong.forumotion.net/ | |

| Me too. I played TT from primary school all the way to NS. Can't really remember the rubbers but I always like double happiness. PF4 does ring a bell. | |

| I grew in Indonesia till Senior High School (JC equiv)... so I do not know much about Toa Payoh Hall. But I have met a few players who played there and they were good. Is there anything special from that place?
I am a player using pen-holder grip which recently changed to Wang-Hao style with rubbers at both hands. Both rubbers are the same though: Butterfly Sriver.... My style is utilizing more on fast attacks, which often hit the balls while it is still rising. Needless to say, I seldom step backs until I have to. How do you call that kind of style?

| wow, it has been interesting hearing all the nostalgic table-tennis terms like PF4s and 729s flying around. Played it in Primary and Secondary school teams as well. I still remember always losing to Chung Cheng High and those hotshot school teams around. Too bad my schools always can't progress very far. haha.
If there are any social games setup, can I join? haha, hvnt touched the bat in godzillion years.
Maybe there were players here that had played against each other in Zone and National tournaments before eh?
