One range session under my belt and two rounds of golf:
XCaliber Tour 6+ Stiff Wanted to give it a try since its one of the stiffer shafts around especially in the tip section. Launch was medium-low, just what I want! Difficult to tell spin from a range session spin is low as well, not even a hint of ballooning and plenty of roll. Dispersion is pretty good ... playing after a month away from the game .. so my swing is pretty inconsistent right now dispersion is excellent, the ball just wants to go straight with a hint of draw, hit 9/10 fairways with it today. Shafts definitely good enough to warrant a few outings on the course ... dont think it will be able to kick the Black Tie out of the bag, but for the price $$ this is definitely a great deal !!! I was wrong ... it has kicked the black tie out of the bag for now!!!
XCaliber Tour Hybrid Tour Stiff Gone into my Adams Super XTD 17 degree hybrid, and its going to stay there ... stiffer tip compared to the Fubuki ... and works MUCH better for me ... once I get back my swing this combo is sure to add another dimension to my game ... off the tee when danger left/right, and off the deck into par 5s! And all this for only 40 bucks This hybrid head shaft combo is really working out well for me, both off the tee and the turf!
Will play a round on Monday ... and provide more reliable feedback then

I have also tried the Xcaliber 6+ stiff with a RBZ tour 9 degree head. Making comparison side by side with Fujikura rombax 6z07 and stock RBZ matrix ozik HD6. Out of the 3 shafts, Xcaliber performed the straightest shot for me and medium trajectory.

I'm glad we didnt order the driver shaft in TourStiff ... the Stiff is easily firm enough! I just hope this is not the honeymoon phase, and there are lots of great tee shots to follow ...

| Hi guys,
Me got the XCaliber Tour 6+ Stiff driver shaft and stuck a titleist 909D3 head to it.
After a first range session, medium height ball flight and nice, stable thru the swing.
Was using the whiteboard 73x on a 9064LS 8.5 deg head.
Comparable distance off the tee and possible more roll on the xcaliber!!!
Seems like the sweetest deal ever on a shaft for me!!!
Now hoping for more session and see if the magic retains...
Maybe can arrange a game for all the XCaliber shaft users... Kekeke

| Tried out my fren's SL regular flex on an Adams 9064LS 9.5* head. I normally use a stiff flex. But just tried it out anyway. Think the SL is more suitable for smooth swingers. I had to slow down my tempo b4 hitting good shots. A nice smooth swing produced a nice mid trajectory mini draw. Dont seem to get much feedback when I really gave it a good whack. Felt kinda flat. Maybe not used to the head. But the R doesn't feel whippy at all. Was actually quite firm. Then I hit a few w a R9 supertri 10.5* head. This one produced really high balloon shots that were straight with also a lil draw. Maybe cus of the R flex. Wasn't a good combo for me. Although it's supposed to be super lite, swing weight of D3. The shaft feels pretty stable and for the price..really can't complain. Think I should just go get my SL stiff flex installed tmr and give it a try on my supertri 8.5* head and see if it can replace my whiteboard 63S. The Tour hybrid shaft, I feel it's a tad heavy for me. Killed the feeling of my R9 hybrid 19* which I loved so much for the feel. Good shots produced good distance, but pretty low ball flight. Straight though. Would prefer a higher ball flight so I can use it for long par 3's or shorter par 5's. | |

| This is my newbie review ( started golfing for abt a yr and 1st time re-shafting) I wasnt in the purchase list like you guys , i was too late when i came across this post , was tempted after reading it and went to make my own purchase Had my SL Regular flex on my RBZ 10.5 driver.... tried out on course today , i feel the regular shafts is abit more stiff and feels more heavier than the RBZ stock shaft (Luckily didnt purchase the stiff shaft) . tee off is a very slight draw with a penetrating mid flight , still not very consistant yet cause i didnt try it out at range , and i cant wait to bring it straight to the course .. haa I like the ball flight very much , usually i will have a little fade with my swing previously but for this it shaft it never happens today , with my slow swing tempo its either straight or a little draw. Even when i didnt hit the sweet spot , the ball still has a pleasant distance for me . Can actually see the penetrating ball in the air when u drive off . The contact feel is a bit hard for me . but I get abt 230m with rolls for 2 good shots which is really 10m more then what i achieved in the past . Overall , a very very good shaft and the best is its CHEAP ! No regrets with the purchase | |

| The Reg shaft is 240 +/- 3cpm, which is nearer towards stiff than a normal Reg shaft. From I what I read in reviews, it hold true to it firmness.
I havent had the chance to pick up my shaft yet. hope to this sat.. DGman.. here i come

| My Xcalibur is still at customgolf OCC, waiting to be worked on. Heard from the fitter there today that he encountered someone that cracked his Xcalibur shaft already. Which poor soul so strong ah? | |

| I just tried my seXcalibur Tour SL for the first time at the range today.
Ballflight was really good, mid trajectory without ballooning. It is evident that the SL version has been really able to keep my spin down. And regardless of the higher torque value than my previous shaft, it actually feels more stable. I have yet to try it on the course, but I've a good feeling that it's going to kick the old driver out of the bag.
I would be keen to take part in next mass order if it is happening.

| this is not a good review coz i got a 80g stiff hybrid to replace my stock 65g regular shaft...i can only say light may not always be better... contact was better with a heavier shaft, i dun hit it thin or fat as much... if not wrong, the ball flight is lower and lower spin...
now i have problem with the ball going way left, ... most probably is me coz somehow the clubface feels close to me...
Feel wise i cannot comment much since this is the first time i change shaft... only can say it feels more solid... may be due to the flex more than the profile... now think if i should change my 3 wood shaft to a heavier shaft...
