| I will play indoor golf but it would seem this is a difficult business to sustain. Swing Perfection closed at Killney but no info on website when it will reopen even tho it says Apr 12. Maxswing at Orchard Central closed without a trace. Only City Golf and Green on Screens still around but rates not so cheap that can bring kids along to just have a fun hit.
But the above rates summarized is quite attractive. I will play if you charge those rates.

| How accurate is the simulator ? Is a slice really a slice on course ? If I hit straight in the simulator duplicating the exact swing will it be straight ? Can someone advise. Thanks | |

- Ok friends,
Thanks for your feedback so far. I've worked out a draft pricing, let me know your thoughts...
Off Peak Rates: $18/hr (mon - fri, 7am - 6pm) Peak Rates: $25/hr (all other times)
Membership: $360/ann ($30/ mth) - 2 hours free play per month - enjoy members rate at $15/ $18 for off peak and peak periods respectively - once a month members night, free play whole night
The place will sell booze and finger food as well. Possible locations are town and east coast.
Sounds like something you will do? Is your proposed rate per pax or per bay? Most places charge by per bay per hour. If its by per bay then I say it's very good pricing. However, if its per pax then its gonna be damn ex, e.g. a flight of 4 would cost $100/hr. Besides pricing, the quality/accuracy of the simulator plays a big part. So far of the virtual golf simulators I tried previously, the only one that stood out was HDgolf which Swing Perfection used. Why? because there's no need to use special balls with marking, stand in a specific location with intruding sensors, and indicate on the system which club I'm using so that the simulator can calculate the ball flight. It also help that the graphics are really nice. The only downside I could remember was that there was no wind setting.

| Hmm the rates sound very affordable. I think within 1 hour, can complete 18-holes.
Will support if the rates stay this way

| my thoughts is that if this indoor golf lounge is to open in town or near town, it will be a kind of overcrowding for business... Why not be innovative and open it in some places where people can chill out as they play indoor... Bishan and TPY range seems a better concept for me as they got dinning area and even better with prawning and other activities...

| Kudos to golf simulators! Very suitable For people who can't really play or who don't have club memberships! Makes the game enjoyable for them not having to look for lost balls and saves the members of private clubs the distress of playing with such players. Win win | |

| Maybe for location you can consider the old badminton association of singapore next to gspa, heard it was up for lease recently at quite a reasonable price. I guess that area would be central-eastern and has its own parking lots. | |
