Some avian trivia concerning shot calls culled from the internet (which I guess we can take it with a pinch of salt eh?) … I’ve seen scoreboards at NSRCC with golfers scoring Albatrosses but nowadays very seldom see any (if at all) even during the many PGA games on Golf Channel by the many pros… Wonder why?

Par - Strokes Equal To Par
Birdie – One Stroke Under Par
Eagle – Two Strokes Under Par
Albatross aka Double Eagle - Three Strokes Under Par
Condor aka Triple Eagle aka Double Albatross - Four Strokes Under Par (or hole-in-one / ace on a par 5 hole or or a 2 on a par-6) apparently there are only four recorded 4 under scores as read on the internet… considered the “rarest” of golf scores
Ostrich - Five Strokes Under Par (or hole-in-one on a par-6 hole, usually over 600 yards) no record of so far & generally considered impossible
Phoenix - Six Strokes Under Par (or hole-in-one on a par-7 hole) - considered a "mythical" theoretical score ... understand there is one par-7 hole in the world, the Satsuki golf course in Sano, Japan, boasting the longest hole in the world -an exhausting 964-yard, par-7 long

Blue Bird - Shooting a Quadruple Bogey or worse during Vegas when your opponents play Birdie/Par or better and there is no cap on points per hole ....
