Since short game is in fact his business, he can make deduct the expenses of his backyard from his taxable revenue. Brilliant.

It's synthetic turf that needs no watering or trimming, so no maintenance fees but it's an asset though.

Haven't been there yet so i am not sure haha. It's evenly spread out though with elevation changes. Good for pitching practice.

Synthetic also explains why it appears the pins are just movable flags on a flat base. Check out the shadow at the base of the flags, it looks like a raised base rather than a hole. Probably he did not want to cut any permanent holes.

Yes, I'd pay good money to watch the debate.

Pelz's research led him to the conclusion that nothing is more important than short game in scoring (65% impact). Broadie, exactly opposite, long game has twice the impact as short game.

How about putting? IMHO, missing a one footer putt is as damaging as missing a easy short chip...

Anyway, its always good to have a decent long drive, good short game and a steady putter... hehe

The closest thing to this in a house in Singapore that I have seen is the Istana, which has a 9 hole golf course.

Someone quoted a source in the tax department valuing it at US$1.4 million, but stating that it appears to be undervalued. So, maybe circa US$2mio?

It is located at Austin, Texas. Since Texas has plenty of land, and it looks like a desert area, the real estate prices are not exorbitant.

Some places go for US$161k per acre. If this was the price, at 2.5 acres the land the house sits on would cost about US$400k.
