PostSubject: Questions on club fitting   Questions on club fitting I_icon_minitimeMon Jun 04, 2012 10:58 pm

I have a question, hope the experts here can advise me.

Suppose I go and fit a suitable shaft for my rbz hybrid and wood.
But on the day of fitting, I'm not swinging my normal self......the ball just fail to connect and launch properly.
The fitter fit me with a certain shaft.

Suppose later I found my swing back.
Will this newly fitted shaft works?

Else, how?

Uh if Eric is the fitter, chances are he may turn u away and ask u to come back later...

Happened to me before Embarassed

Why dun just play with the stock shaft first?

Maybe your swing is not consistent enough to benefit from a fitting?

Alternatively , the shaft the fitter gives you would probably be more forgiving And suitable for you than what you think you need Smile

Hiaz......an all too familiar story for some of us here.

But anyway, have a word with the fitter first, he is the best person to advise.

Why this game is so diff? One moment I was hitting great and I Thot just a bit more. So I tweak my swing to get a bit more. End up I lost much more

i remember when you came for clubfitting, i told you not to be greedy, your swing was great, distance may not be the longest but the timing and striking was good. by pushing for that bit more, you will lose the timing and control of the lower core.

so concentrate on your finishing, you want to feel balance. it should be back in no time.

DGman

i have also said that input equals to output. when i asked my customers to go away, its always with a clear message of what they need to work at. hence when they are ready they will benefit from proper fitting. there is no such thing as fitting helping someone who cannot strike the ball. fitting only serve to optimise unless that golfer has a particular physical condition that only fitting can intervene.

Thank u Eric. I have already fixed appt with u thru yl on 12 jun. If I am not ready, I will not come. No point coming but gaining nothing.

Yes I shall not be greedy. Focus on contact first, distance will come like u told me the other time
