I played with JakeTang the other day and I like his routine. I noticed that he is careful as far as club gripping is concerned, and he takes a few moments to ensure that he grips his club properly. No practice shot. Just one hit and BOOMZ!!

read the book zen golf, quite interesting on the mental part of the game... they even talk abt the pre shot routine

PRE SHOOT ROUTINE: i look at the hole where to aim . then i do one half swing and one full swing. they i address myself to te ball by watching my aiming n checking my set up. right after that i smach the ball

I realize that I've a bad tendency of aiming to the right. I'm not sure why. I need to re-examine my pre-shot routine again.

Me take 2 'short half' practice swings (which is full swing in reality) and boomz....

Just reminding myself not to overswing & to get a feel for the trigger - no 'fancy' setup (which I think is bad cos I might not be aligned properly all the time)
