hey guys! thanks for all the awesome replies.. much better than hardwarezone golf section hah!

ok some questions.

1. what is a game improvement set?
2. should i get steel or graphite clubs? my friend said steel as i'm still young, 20 this year and a guy.

I'll strongly consider your set swerve. My uncle wants to bring me to bukit batok first though.

I'll upload a video of my swing here after my next visit to the range. I just came back from OCC btw haha!

Dear noobie Razz

it's always exciting to build up your own set. i just did mine and still looking to add bits and pieces to it. the most basic would always be your iron set. if all goes wrong, they are the most reliable and the most often clubs you would turn to.

like some of the seniors here said, no use buying an expensive set with the latest technology but you just can't hit it well. i got my own set of bridgestone GC OS irons at just $280 on singapore ebay. They may be clubs launched 2 years ago but I think they are great and easy to play with and they were in such good condition.

So take a look around shops and feel the clubs in your own hand... read reviews online... source around the marketplace or ebay, i'm sure you'll end up with a set you'll enjoy playing with. happy golfing to us all.... Very Happy
