| Hi Everyone,
I love the discussion about lessons and trying to understand who to choose.
If it's helpful, please allow me to advise.
Our golf school is located at Jurong Country Club and we have all the facilities to work on every aspect of your game, including the executive golf course just across the parking lot.
Group lessons can be a fun way to learn, very productive if planned properly, and of course more affordable than one on one lessons.
There are certain things that can be taught to the group, as a group, and other things that need to be catered to each individual group member, separately.
For example, I make sure that every one of my students understands the best methods of practice using key concepts from the best research done on skill development and, the practice techniques used by pretty much any world class performer. So that when they do learn a new skill or technique they understand how to practice in a way that is going to have a lasting effect and eventually become an automatic thing. It's not complicated, and it is essential to learning or improving any skill.
These ideas about practice can be applied to someone learning to golf, learning to rollerblade, or learning to play the drums. Which is why it can be taught to everyone at the same time.
Basically, here's a look at some really important stuff that is necessary for everyone to understand, and just try to remember the basic concepts so that when I refer to them later on, when I'm giving you some one on one attention it will make sense.
But as I said, it's not all group group group. Group members also need individual attention.
As a coach, my job is to make sure that everyone in the group has an understanding of their own unique swing, what the critical errors are, and the necessary steps to improve those errors and get the desired outcome. Distance, direction, better contact, what ever the case may be, your issues are not likely to be the same as the other golfers int the group. If I am conducting a group lesson (especially for golfers who already have experience and their own unique swing) and I am teaching everybody the same technique, then I'm not doing my job correctly.
Once everyone has a good understanding of their own unique errors and corrections and, understands how to actually learn and practice in a way that is going to make it last. Then it's possible to shift the lessons to something different. Like how to take the new technique from the range to the golf course, or short game, course management, mental game, or pretty much anything we want to do.
Long story short, I can give you a great group lesson experience that will most certainly be productive for your golf games.
I would love to discuss more if anyone is interested and would even be happy to invite you down to our golf school @ Jurong Country Club to meet me, check it out, and see if it would be a good fit before you commit to anything.
Also, if you are interested in finding out a little bit more about me, my lesson packages, rates, blog, video, etc. you can check out www.bradfordprogolf.com
PS - sorry for the ramble, I started and couldn't stop. Hope it was helpful.

Cause I ever talk to MGK school and they told me to gain more experience before go for intermediate course I do think so because from playing you'll know which part of your game is weaker....

NSRCC par 3 need swing test but it's FOC. Actually if you guys want and play ok, ok as in at least the ball most of the time is in the air, you can try marina.

| Interesting ! So far been with my kakis to ponderosa and Daiman 18 in Msia. No hcp nor Pc ever asked from me. Plus price is cheaper since my club is affiliated. Only problem is transportation since one guy drives and rest of us dont. End up we kinda slacked and stop going.
Ponderosa is below $50 sgd with golf cart on weekend for 18 holes for afilliated. just tht daiman can drive Cart on course. be glad to help arrange if you guys are interested. I'm looking to get on the green again since I felt it helped me much more then range.
Of course my standard is not there yet so alOt of ob and lost ball but it's damn fun, cheap and overall great experience

Never been to Palm Villa but is it closer to Causeway? i know Ponderosa and Daiman about 45 mins drive from SG Booking no problem but need one week notice. 4 per flight works best but may have to play fast since these courses are quite popular from what i experienced.
