| both are good irons...personally i prefer MB because i like the neat and simple design of the club head...
in general, many believe Cavity back irons are easier to play than MB iron due to the location of the CG of the iron, thus making MB iron less forgiving.
Cavity back design sets the CG of the iron lower and it promote a easier ball launch than MB iron, thus more forgiving.

| Both are player iron , however there is more of forgiveness on the ap2 and it 's launching slightly higher than the MB. MB are muscle back if you hit slightly off the center of the club you will feel it at you will not hit same distance and shape however the ap2 you can get away with your miss . What is your handicap if you aren't single figure i will not advice you to get MB as it's pretty to handle on the day your swing isn't synchronized.

| Some folks have the mentality of starting with difficult irons. They practice hard to excel in it ... and when they eventually reach player's standard, they dun need to change irons ... Once they get a hang of the bladed irons, they will never wanna use cavity-backed irons. In other words, MB iron is for life ... | |

| I know that many say that the AP2 are players irons, but I found them pretty easy to use. Launch is easy, pretty forgiving even on off-center hits. Especially the newer models (think 710 onwards). Of course, the right shaft has to be on it.
As for the MBs, I have a problem launching even the 7 iron consistently, but then again, normally even the most flexible shaft that they fit on the demo MB clubs is a bit too stiff for me.
Preferences are personal, there are many demo days, go try out the clubs yourself. Also, if you are prepared to spend on Titleist, consider some of the japanese options as well, e.g. Yonex, Bridgestone, PRGR etc etc
If you spend enough time trying clubs, you'll probably get a better idea of the kind of clubs that are suitable for you.

| yea I know bro...the teh c today wasnt as good as usual, so bit grouchy to starbucks, if I may suggest, join team titleist or like Titleist SEA FB page. They have demo days and fitting sessions around the island. No better answer than trying the clubs yourself | |

| Nobody has ever said that Players irons is harder to hit leh. With technology nowadays, i think clubs are easier to manage if you have put in efforts to get your swing sorted out. Players irons imo refers to clubs that the better player will be able to shape the ball here and there. And also it allows them to control their shots better. And whether MB or CB, its still the personal preference. | |

| Btw, Titleist SEA has their own thread in GR. you can ask them for demo days/fitting sessions too.
Their customer engagement is tops, in my book.
