| I was in BKK recently and went to Thaniya Plaza, there isnt much food in thaniya Plaza, just 1 ground floor cafe, dunno if nice or not
Outside Thaniya Plaza, there are some Jap makan places to cater to the Jap Ah Peks who visit the massage and KTV bars in that area
i dont think you will go to Thaniya Plaza for food lah, go for golf stuff ok

| I was at Thaniya Plaza last weekend. You can try the sabu sabu outlet at 2nd floor near the escalator. Cheap and good.
Anyway golf staff over there are not cheap but they have very nice stuff. those that you can only find in Japan.

| 2nd floor taniya plaza also has a Japanese BBQ place. prices quite reasonable.
In regards to golf stuff, BE WARNED - second clubs not so cheap. 5 year old model can costs Baht 4000 approx S$160, go figure. - second hand balls also not so cheap against what you pay in Singapore Why.... selling to Japanese so they try to charge more.
Golf accessories are reasonable and maybe a dollar or 2 less than Sin.

| the fried chicken sold by the roadside stall along the road is pretty good. But they open only after 5pm. And I am talking about the chicken with feathers hor..... Not the other kind ... although they can wear feathers too if you have such a fetish.... LOL | |

| I'll be going to bkk this coming may. Any advice from old birds which are the shops I cannot miss. Like many have already mentioned, I will not be getting clubs there since SG is cheaper. Plan to get some accessories like iron covers and wood covers that are more attractive and unique haha, also looking for cheap n good apparel.
Keep your recommendations coming! Thanks GR!

Keep your recommendations coming! Thanks GR! You have to spend at least 3 hours to be able to check everything. Start from the Top and just spend time looking all the golf store you can see. Most of the apparel & accessories are located down stairs. One strong advice is, if your wife or partner doesn't play golf. Don't bring them over there. Surely she willl be bored
