| Just wondering if once you get a Hole In One, how to validate claim Just flight markers sign scorecard ok already? Report to clubhouse to get certificate? Report to insurance company after celebration round (keep reciepts) to claim? Is there anything else additional to do? | |

Is there anything else additional to do? Just to be sure. You need to complete the entire 18 holes to be eligible?

| You need to inform the golf club where you scored the hole-in-one, they usually give you a form to sign. In the form usually need the other flight members name/phone and signature.
The insurance company normally also calls the other flight members to validate when you claim. Most insurance is usually for celebrating at the course you hit the hole in one or your home course (assuming your insurance is from your home course). But these varies, so you should check with your insurance.

| I can't comment about specifics of other clubs, but if you wish to claim the insurance for the celebration, then you must get the certificate from the golf course that you achieved the HIO on. Also, must have at least 1 witness.
I do not think it is necessary to complete all 18 holes to be eligible for a HIO cert from the club.
Read the fine print about how to claim insurance for HIO celebrations. Some mention must be at the golf club or course where you achieved the HIO. Some must be on same day. Some give you 48 hours.
As an example, MGK insurance gives you 14 days and any location to claim for your HIO celebration up to $500.

Must finish 18 hole. (remember one of the GRian had a hole in one and he had to complete 18 holes to claim the prize, which is a car).

| @mloy
For HIO prizes in tournaments, it depends on the Conditions of Competition for each tournament. Yes, you must normally complete the game. I was referring to getting the certificate so that you can claim the insurance for HIO celebration, you do not need to play 18 holes to get that.
@enwee like i said, can't comment about specifics of each club or golf course, but at least 1 witness. Some may require more. Perhaps the wording, 2 people (incl the golfer).
Club will normally just issue the cert, fine print would be more from the insurance side
