Wedges configuration in your bag

Hi. Interested to know what wedges are in your bag?

I carry a 52*, 58*, 60* wedges.

50: approach shots 100-120m
56: approach shots 90-100m, & 60-70m, and all chip shots
60: approach shots 70-90m, and <60m, and all pitch shots

me
51* - 90m~80m or chipped in & roll.
54* - 80~70m in or chipped for very closed to pin or sand.
57* - deep bunker. or chipped n little roll.

have a 60* at home.. but too unskilled to play the 60*...

PW,GW,SW,LW
46,50,54,58

45, 52, 56, 60

51,56

46* PW - used only on full shots
52* GW - for full shots, pitching, chipping and thin sand shots
56* SW - for bunkers

Tried a 60* LW before but was not consistent with my distances. Prefer to use GW as much as I can.

Depending on the course length of the course length i got two set up of my bag .


Short course where i will mostly use wedge or short iron on second shot i will have : 60.04 , 54.11 , 50.08 , 47.08(PW) .

Long Course where mid iron to long iron , I'll use only 3 wedge : 60.04 , 54.11 , 47.08

Used to be 46, 52, 56, 60. But scrapped it cos i always get confused over which one to use.

56 for chip in and bunker , 60 for flop shot over bunker

dont need... i have recently discovered a multi loft wedge for those lofts... its called the hand wedge

i don't usually hit full shots on my wedges. 3/4 swing safer.

PW 48*.. SW 56*.. LW 60*

At home, I have a 52, 53, 56, 58, 59 and a 60 deg wedge.

And I usually bring 3 wedge combo. Pw, Aw, Sw or Lw

depending on the course and sand.

If the course is hard and has many Deep bunker, I'd bring my 60deg wedge

if the course has softer sand, and average bunker. My 58 and 58deg wedge will be on my bag.

if the course uses cow grass, I would bring my 56 & 60deg wedge.

But oftenly, I normally bring a Pw, 52 as Aw & 58 as my Sw.

I do not need a 64 to do a flop shot. What matter most is how you can "Back Spin" the ball to make a " 2 bounce" and Deadball. ( golf ball stopped near the hole )

PW 47 Approach 80-90m (back wind 100m+max.)
AW 52 Approach 50-70m/Chip-run & Chip-bite (back wind 79m+)
LW 58 Chip-in Red pin & pin on dwnslope (especially fr MBGC S.Bunker)
