Buying a membership from changi golf course/ tanjung puteri

Hi all,

I just picked up golf and was thinking of purchasing membership from these 2 clubs.

Anyone knows how do i go abt doing it?

my advice is don't bother buying a Msian golf membership. just walk in and pay the green fee. Tg Puteri green fee is one of the cheaper ones, even on weekends. more importantly, you'll be tired of travelling up to Tg Puteri pretty soon.

as for Changi - i suppose u are referring to NSRCC? it's a good club membership to have provided u can play on weekdays. weekends just too crowded. they also have a course in Kranji. I think u need to be a SAFRA member and an NS man. Otherwise, it'd not be worth the money. u can go check out the NSRCC website for details

If u are motivated to travel to Puteri Weekly, then signing the member is worth it. Depends on how ur prespective of the travelling.

ice all are you referring to social membership for changi?

If you own a car and living more of north side and willingly to play once or twice a week there. It could be worth it then to get Tanjong Puteri. Understand that there is a new Expressway to Pasir Gudang. I dont know it is open yet.

I just renew with Changi associate member for a year at $388. Starting from 1st May is $588.

Traveling to tanjung puteri via new highway is a breeze! Less than 30mins I think...

I was also considering Changi, great little club. Awesome view while having beers at the clubhouse.

They are having a promotion now on Mon and Tuesday, tee off before 2pm,18 hole for $60 nett, good deal.

i kinda enjoy playing 9 hole ....

If im not wrong the pros might get special rates only. Then again depending on who u know.

Haha in the outside World yes, Singapore $$$$$. Malaysia Indonesia even no charge.

But would buy so wife and daughter can play, nice course really.
