Be careful of toxic gases

Dear Friends of GRians..

Based on my own personal experience, I feel compelled to share with everyone and to caution all of you to be careful of hazardous actions that can happen even at home. Do not be like me..


DO NOT MIX BLEACH WITH HOUSEHOLD AMMONIA or VINEGAR.

yes, the gas you see was because of my stupid action of mixing bleach with vinegar.
the best thing.. i didn't know its severity and i continued staying in my room (its an attached toilet)..

So friends, if you wanna continue enjoying golf, PLEASE BE CAREFUL! especially those with young ones.

Oh how i wish to breathe the fresh air on the greens again....To be able to breathe is a luxury...

i dun think its ammonia...

i think its chlorine gas....since its heavy, it will stay

well.. i was thinking of exterminating some flies.. so i know that vinegar attracts them , and i thought bleach will kill them.. so i concocted the mixture in a dish, hoping to wipe them out.. little did i know, i was wiping myself out as well man.. haha

Chlorine is a powerful irritant that can inflict damage to the eyes, nose, throat and lungs. At high concentrations and prolonged exposure it can cause death by asphyxiation.
Don't play around with this, pay someone and get this forced vented to the outside.

would leaving the windows of my room open to ventilate for the entire morning and afternoon be sufficient?

don't think it'll linger and spread to the rest of the house ya? ... sounds bad man..
i would have breathed in loads of it, considering i slept in the room with the gas. =(
