join ntuc my golf kaki

i have been thinking, let join my golf kaki since i already have a ntuc union.

anyone want to tell me more about how and what to do? golf kaki is really slow in replying my email.

i think i have to go get my pc then can apply for handi, right?

actually, i just wish for the insurance instead of the pc and handi. however, joining my golf kaki should be a good experience.

** i enjoy playing at mandai which does not need pc anyway.

My speed and skill, i don't think i wanna try playing in sg, i will be "rush" instead of "enjoy" (i assume only)....

Try gaining more exp in Mandai first. You can also try the executive par 3 at nsrcc. It's available for non members and all u need is a pc to enter.

People join mgk to maintain their handicaps. You can pm Derek (from this forum) to find out more. There's lots on info on mgk in this forum. Try searching for it.

May I ask if it is difficult to get the Golf Pass in MGK? How many available?

I mean how many pass they have for us to ballot? Cos MGK got so many members and if only few passes, then no point balloting right?

well, i got an reply email from golf kaki, yeah...

1. i was told PC is non-transferable. Maybe i ask the wrong question cos i did not asking aobut transfering my PC. i was saying my PC expired many yrs ago. hehe....

2. i was told to re-take the PC at appointed academy – Star Golf Academy. (yeah.. i got my answer liao. hehe...)

3. so i call star golf academy and the staff very kind to explain me more.

The total cost for PC theory & practical will be $64.20.

4. so i am going to go apply for my pc. hope i pass and learn more new things? hehe....

i got another question? can we get a golf insurance without a pc & handi?

you know, i just worry go play in green and accident happen. i feel bad if it happen to others and i will feel pain if it happen to me. thats all.

as mentioned before in previous threads, there seems to be more than enough passes to ballot based on members' experiences. It has nv been a prob for them (i suppose), difficulty is getting weekend flights in occ. If you want an exact number.. then I do not know..

Hi Jtek,

MGK has more than enough passes to go round. The constraint is normally the available flights at OCC. This constraint normally applies on weekends as OCC is still a members club. However, I understand that Sunday pm is usually not full and there are available flights.

I am not able to reveal exactly how many passes are available for ballot, but I can say that it is more than 250 available per day.

My current hcp is expiring and I am considering to transfer to MGK (as my whole family are MGK members except me... )

So for transferring of HCP do I need to go down to MGK personally to transfer and join member or I can do it online?
