twm he testing new irons, supposed to be accurate as hell oi, i said white top and blue bottom. what wear blue??!! I old man lah. if wear pink, sure kena laughed at. So better be a bit conservative. Tell you hor, I am still not used to the new irons at all. Tested on Friday liao. No confidence at all but will bite the bullet and try it tomorrow. Heard playing with 2 pros (quinike & birdman) and a single handicapper (slinger), so if I don't play well, can blame the irons mah.

| I just got back from what was an awesome afternoon. Some feedback We all got there in time *yay!* BUT the weather turned nasty and it rained for a good hour or so. As such, we all ended up teeing off a little later than planned. It was a semi-shotgun start so not much time was lost. The great thing about the rain is that the entire afternoon was cool. There was no scorching sun. The breeze was fantastic and it made playing the course so pleasant. I couldn't have asked for a greater day of golf weather. The downside to playing after the rain is that the course gets damp. While irrigation on the fairways and greens was alright, many bunkers became water hazards. I plonked my tee shot on the 10th hole into the middle of the fairway bunker and had to use my golf ball retriever (full extended) to recover the ball. That's how much water was collected. Aside from the wet bunkers and semi-damp fairways, the greens played well. This is my first time at The Legends and I hope it won't be the last. The fairways are nasty and accuracy is an absolute must. Balls are easily lost if they end up outside the fairways since oil palm trees, jungle and water line the fairways. There's no "borrowing of fairways" here I ended up losing 3 or 4 balls but really enjoyed myself in the process. I had a great flight comprising hoelwil, botak and swerve. It was mostly tcss the entire game and where we weren't tcss'ing, we were ball-hunting It was a blast. Some highlights: 1. Watched Mrs. Khee almost ace the 15th. Her ball stopped about 2 feet from the pin. I bet that if there was no rain, the ball was have rolled all the way in. 2. Watched swerve hit his 2nd shot on the the 3rd (I think) which ran all the way down the buggy track. It was a brilliant use of the track Ended up with a super long run 3. Watched hoelwil send his tee-shot so far and straight on one of the Par 4s that it overran the fairway into the rough just before the green. Crazy long! 4. Got us some coconuts and a water bottle which was placed in a nefarious set-up. Wait for the pics. 5. Watched botak bomb the fairways with his 3W. This bad boy outdrives the drivers. Ouch! Overall, the golf outing was a lot of fun. Food was pretty good too, though I suspect that we were all really hungry so it didn't make much difference what was served. Kudos to the organizers and Who8168 for arranging this unforgettable get-together. This is the 2nd in what I hope will be a long line of great games to come! So.... where are we playing next month? | |

That depends on how fast you drive Seriously, it's also traffic dependent. Sometimes, all you need is one accident on the causeway and things come to a grinding halt. Also don't forget that I need to take the Woodlands causeway.

| Thumbs up to the organisers of this golf game at Legend, I really enjoy myself, with good weather, good food and last but not least knowing a bunch of new golf kakis & friends.... Clap clap!! Also not forgetting to thank our fast driver Birdman for a nice and quick ride; I didn't miss the Liverpool & ManU match very much... Was still in time for 10min into the game only. Cheers bro. | |

| Played like crap, but was really fun I must say. The day turned out really well.
But the bunkers are so devoid of sand it's a joke. It's like all the sand's been sold to China for silicon boob jobs (see Geylang). Throw in the exposed irrigation hoses and funky wild boar lies (yes, that's what all those dug up areas were, not humongous divots), and we had a real obstacle course.
Glad to have met the faces behind the nicks too. Look forward to more down the road, and a BIG BIG THANK YOU to Sunny, MissMoon and Who168.
Glad you only missed 10 min of the game JL, and Ur most welcome. Lol
