Shaft affecting clubhead speed?

IMO...I think there are differences in total weight between ascending weight (AWT) you tried and constant (CFS) which you own now. Perhaps ascending weight concept more suitable for you where short iron more heavier and match to your swing/tempo. Other thing, the bigger grip might delay you more from unload the shaft which cause you miss the sweat spot, but if you hit it dead on the sweatspot then you are having better lag and causing the ball spin more killing the distance. Just try again in your honeymoon period...it might getting better n better....just my 2cents

I have a golf buddy who had almost the problem.

The i20 irons he ordered was fitted was wrong shafts and till now, almost a month already, the problem has yet to be rectified
